There is invisible gap between heating element and heat spreader, and the air in between is the biggest impedance of heat transfer which decreases the efficacy of heat spreader.
Thermal Interface Material (TIM) is used to fill up the gap between heating object and heat spreading object to dissipate heat efficiently.

Thermal Conductivity (K) Test Method

The value of thermal Conductivity is based on the latest instrument (Hot Disk analyzer) to do the test.
Using the double-sided measurement method, and direct touch sample and sensor heating curve obtained thermal diffusivity. Get by the slope of the curve calculated to obtain thermal conductivity.

Surface Resistance Test Method

We entrust SGS to do testing in reference to ASTM D257 (ASTM test method). In the object surface (same side) take two point test resistance value.
